When you purchase a pattern, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details). If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We may also collect browsing data through cookies and analytics tools.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process orders and deliver digital downloads, send order confirmations and receipts, deliver newsletter content you opted into, improve our website and product offerings, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Simone Sews does not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information.
4. Email Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive sewing tutorials, new pattern announcements, and occasional promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies to understand how visitors use our site. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate our business (Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Supabase for data storage) — all under appropriate data processing agreements.
7. Data Retention
We retain order records for 7 years for accounting purposes. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@simonesews.com.
